Peacefully at home, aged 95, on 18th December 2023, John Rhys, former Director of the University of Wales Press and lay preacher.

Devoted husband of Barbara, loving father of Gethin, much loved Tad-cu of Elinor and Sioned, dear brother of Gwyn.

Funeral service on Friday January 5th at 3pm in Beulah United Reformed Church, Rhiwbina (www.ipcamlive.com/beulahurccardiff), and then in Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill.

Family flowers only, but financial donations if desired to Beulah's Kindred in Need charitable fund via www.greenwillowfunerals.com/tributes-donations
